Linwood Cafe

I was sweaty, exhausted, dehydrated, and in Linwood, KS when I found this neat little spot. I had just finished my two legs of the annual Brew to Brew relay race from Boulevard Brewery in Kansas City, MO to Freestate Brewery in Lawrence, KS. After finishing my 8.2 miles, we drove to the next checkpoint in Linwood to wait for our next teammate to finish. Along side the Linwood Cafe’s in-need-of paint wall was a little patch of green grass (complete with dandelions) that sums up springtime in the Midwest.
